The coin behind door eighteen is the Falkland Islands 1 Penny.

The Falkland Islands is a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean. The Falkland Islands Pound is the currency used on the islands and the 1 Penny features the famous Gentoo Penguins.

Falkland Islands 1 Penny

The Gentoo penguins are the fastest underwater swimmers of all penguins, and can be recognised by a white stripe that runs over of the top of their heads from eye to eye. About 25% of the estimated 600,000 Gentoo Penguins in the world live on the Falkland Islands. They first appeared on the Falkland Island Penny in 1974.

The Falkland Islands coinage is only legal tender on the islands, and cannot be spent in the UK. Because it has a population of approximately only 3,400, their coins have significantly lower mintages compared to typical UK coins, which makes their coinage particularly scarce and collectible.

The official language of the Falkland Islands is English.
