The coin behind door one is the Seychelles 1 Cent.

The currency of The Seychelles is the Seychellois rupee, which is subdivided into 100 cents.

The 1 Cent features the Giant Mud Crab on the reverse, which lives in estuaries and mangroves in the Seychelles and are an economically important food and income source to coastal communities in East Africa. They can grow up to 3.5kg in weight, with a shell width of 24cm.

The Seychelles coat of arms on the obverse features two sailfish on either side, and a giant tortoise on an island under a coconut tree with a ship sailing in the background. The shield is enthroned with a silver helmet, and beneath states the Seychelles motto: “Finis Coronat Opus’ – Latin for “The End Crowns the Work”.

The whole coat of arms focusses on the typical wildlife of the islands. The White-tailed Tropicbird at the top represents air, the tortoise represents land, and the sailfish represent the sea.

The official languages of Seychelles are English, French, and Seychellois Creole.
