This 50p was issued in 2021 as part of the second series of coins celebrating 95 years of A. A. Milne’s tale of fun-filled adventure, Winnie the Pooh. The reverse design has been inspired by the original book illustrations by E. H. Shephard and features the bounciest character from Hundred Acre Wood, Tigger! Tigger is one of the most popular Winnie the Pooh characters and has a fan base that spans across generations and across the planet. Each of the coins in the Winnie the Pooh 50p collection also feature a design of a honeybee, acting as a motif to tie them all together. The obverse features the fifth portrait of Her Majesty QEII by Jody Clark.
